I saw Nurse Winifred here for a routine pap and wellness check. I was nervous about it, but she made me feel safe and comfortable. The procedure was quick and mostly painless. All the staff members I interacted with here were friendly and professional. Highly recommend

I cannot thank the team at Women’s Care of Alaska enough for their incredible care during my pregnancy and postpartum journey! From my prenatal visits to my delivery and post-birth checkups, the doctors and NP’s were incredibly attentive, kind, and professional. They always took the time to answer my questions and made me feel completely supported as a new mom. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for compassionate OB care.

I had a great first experience with Haley Gomez. She is wonderful. I particularly appreciated that she took all of my concerns seriously, and showed she trusted my medical knowledge too. (Living with multiple chronic illnesses your whole life, you learn a thing or two.) She even made sure I agreed -and was satistfied with- all the tests ordered. She was very kind, made sure I was comfortable, and was just an all-around pleasant person. It feels good to be heard and cared for.

Receptionists are also very sweet!

The dear lady who did my bloodwork was also amazing. My only "good vein" wasn't cooperating, but she still managed to stick me with just one poke in a different one!

I had an excellent experience with Women’s Care. From the front desk to the providers, everyone was kind, respectful, and genuinely caring. The doctors took the time to listen to my concerns, explained everything clearly, and made me feel comfortable and supported throughout my visits. I never felt rushed, and my questions were always taken seriously. It’s clear they truly care about their patients and their well-being. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for compassionate, professional women’s healthcare.

If you are looking for compassionate people, and people who really take the time to know you and your body please schedule and appointment here. Meagan Byrne is honestly the sweetest and most caring obgyn! She listened to every concern and walked me through the process when I lost 2 of the triplets I was pregnant with when my son absorbed them. She also took me in when I was already 26 weeks after having to fire my other doctor at a different practice. I will no longer be having any more babies but if I was still on that journey I would choose them and Meagan Byrne time and time again!!!!

Enjoyed reading the reviews! I saw Dr Counts in Jacksonville, FL. She sounds like the same caring, compassionate person she was when I saw her in the 1990’s. I hated to see her move!

If you’re looking for a clinic that acts with compassion and true concern with a slower pace, I highly recommend Women’s Care of Alaska. With years of complications and being mistreated by other healthcare “professionals” feeling rushed, overbooked and un heard it was a breath of fresh air meeting Dr. Byrne and staff. Unfortunately there are not many health care offices you can walk in to these days without receiving attitude. I applaud Womens Care of Alaska for changing that narrative!

I would recommend this OBGYN to everyone! Love the Physicians , love the nurses, love the staffs. I’ve seen a few different doctors but out of all of them I would definitely recommend seeing Dr. Counts! She’s heaven sent alright . She makes you want to come back to the office even when you don’t have to be there . A lot of people dislikes going to the doctors office to get checked up but with Dr.Counts she makes me want to come even when I don’t have to be there lol it’s Just the way she treats her patients. I’d say it’s the same care a kid gets from its own mother . She’s so polite! She hears you out. She goes over and beyond for her patients . She treats everyone equally. I’ve never seen her irritated or mad . She’s always happy. Don’t get me wrong there’s nothing wrong with the other Physicians, it’s just Dr.Counts is by far my favorite. team beside her at WCAK are also very welcoming and polite. The facility itself is beautiful, well kept, clean, and stocked.
